Also Used For: Orally, Da Huang / Rhubarb is used for constipation, diarrhea, dyspepsia, gastritis, preparation for gastrointestinal diagnostic procedures after recto-anal surgery, for bowel movement relief when anal fissures are present, and for hemorrhoids. For food uses, rhubarb stems are edible. Rhubarb is also used as a flavoring agent. Dosage: 3 – 12g.
