Indications:
Lung heat with
dryness and severe damage to the LU yin as well as some wind
symptoms. Manifestations include dry hacking cough, wheezing, dry
parched throat and nose, headache, fever, chest fullness, thirst,
irritability. T: dry with no coat, P: deficient big rapid.
Warm dryness
attacking the Lungs causing rebel Qi. Usually brought on by
environmental factors, i.e. dry indoors, fall season, dry warm
weather. This formula is stronger than
sang xing tang (which is more
for superficial conditions) and works better on strong dry
pathogenic influences.
