Indications:
Mild summer heat
invading the qui level with residual pathogens lingering causing
mild superficial and damp symptoms. The patient feels fever, mild
thirst, unclear head and vision with light headedness, slight
distension of the head, pink tongue with thin white coat.
This can also be
moderate summer-heat that has not been fully released via
sweating. Most of the symptoms are in the head (the most yang
part of the body), which indicates that the pathogen is
superficial.
Note: the term
xian which precedes most names in the formula means "fresh."
Fresh herbs are usually more aromatic than their dried
counterparts.
