 Wind-Damp Bi

Die Da Wan

 

Trauma Pill

Function: Moves qi and blood.  Reduces pain and swelling

Composition: 

  Chuan Xiong Ligusticum 20-30g
  Dang Gui Angelica 20-30g
  Mo Yao Commiphora 20-30g
  Tu Bie Chong Eupolyphaga 20-30g
  Ma Huang Ephedra 50-60g
  Ru Xiang Boswellia 20-30g
  Xue Jie Dracaena 20-30g
  Zi Ran Tong Pyritum 20-30g

Herbs should be made into 3g pills with honey.  Adults take one or two pills two times a day.

Indications: Trauma causing qi and blood stagnation which leads to bruising and swelling.  Traumatic injury such as sprain with bruising, swelling, and distended ache and pain at a fixed location. This formula can be used to treat traumatic injury from falls, fractures, blows, contusions and strains. 

Modification: for more severe symptoms add ma qian zi and she xiang.

 

Caution: do not use during pregnancy
