Rhubarb and Aconite Decoction

Functions: warms interior, disperse Cold & Damp, unblocks bowels, relieves pain

Formula:

Notes: Fuzi should be powdered.  Dahuang should be added during the last 3 - 5 min. of the decoction process.

Indications:  Cold accumulation or yang deficiency in the abdomen leading to constipation with cramping pain.  The qi stagnates and heats up which can cause a mild fever.  Other symptoms include cold extremities, chills and hypochondriac pain.  T: normal or pale, white coat; P: wiry or tight, deep.

Caution: do not use during pregnancy
